About the Role
Bison USA is dedicated to helping new drivers build a strong future in the trucking industry, starting from day one. This position is specifically designed for CDL-A recent graduates who have completed their schooling within the last 90 days and are ready to launch their Over-The-Road (OTR) careers. The role offers a clear path from paid training to your first solo load, ensuring you have support every mile of the way.
As a driver with Bison, you will operate late-model van and reefer trailers on steady OTR routes, typically covering 2,000 to 2,500 miles per week. You can expect to be home 2-3 days every 2-3 weeks. The position features 98% no-touch freight, allowing you to focus on driving, and includes the opportunity to bring a pet or rider on the road.
The Training Experience
We believe in investing in your success. New drivers undergo a comprehensive training program that includes 3 days of orientation, 5 days of classroom and terminal training, and 4 weeks of in-cab paid training with an experienced mentor. A fast-track option is available for qualified candidates, reducing in-cab training to 2 weeks based on evaluation. Upon successful completion, you will be assigned your own truck and head home.
