About the Role
The Claims Adjuster Trainee position serves as the foundational step in a structured career path, designed to prepare candidates for promotion to the Adjuster Level 1 role. This role combines self-study, classroom instruction, and on-the-job training to build the expertise necessary for investigating, reserving, negotiating, and settling property and casualty claims.
While operating under direct supervision with minimal authority, trainees are responsible for ensuring all assigned claims are resolved timely and fairly in accordance with policy contracts. The position requires conducting thorough investigations into coverage, liability, and damages while adhering to Claims Best Practices and providing quality service to all parties involved.
Hiring Process
Candidates must successfully complete a series of required training courses and obtain the Georgia Resident Adjuster Property and Casualty license. Maintaining this license through state-mandated Continuing Education is a key component of the role's progression.
