About the Role

This position serves as a Claims Technical Supervisor, providing day-to-day technical leadership for the Benefit Plan Administration/Reference and EDI operations teams. You will support quality, productivity, technical accuracy, workflow management, and operational compliance within a fast-paced healthcare claims environment. This role exists to ensure accurate and compliant processing, system configuration, and operational readiness by partnering with internal stakeholders and providing subject-matter expertise.

Your Day-to-Day

You will step into a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment focused on technical accuracy and operational performance. Your day involves supervising daily workflow operations, assigning work, balancing priorities, and removing operational blockers to meet service-level targets. You will provide technical guidance on claims operations, regulatory requirements, and EDI processes, while leading quality assurance activities to improve operational accuracy. Expect regular interaction with operational leadership, IT teams, and business owners to support issue resolution and system readiness.

Hiring Process

This is a pipeline requisition intended to proactively build a strong pool of qualified candidates for upcoming business needs. Key Responsibilities

Requirements

  • verifiedHigh school diploma or GED required
  • verifiedAssociate or bachelor's degree in healthcare administration or related field preferred
  • verifiedPrior lead, supervisory, mentoring, or informal leadership experience within healthcare operations, claims operations, EDI, or benefit administration environments preferred

  • verifiedProficiency with Microsoft Excel, reporting tools, operational dashboards, and trend analysis

Nice to Have

Associate or bachelor's degree in healthcare administration or related field. Prior lead, supervisory, mentoring, or informal leadership experience within healthcare operations, claims operations, EDI, or benefit administration environments. Experience with claims systems, rule configuration, claim editing, audits, EDI transaction workflows, or benefit administration processes.
