About the Role
This position serves as a specialized Insurance Claims Examiner and Adjuster within the Professional Liability and Medical Malpractice sectors. The role is designed to administer and maintain critical litigation and claims functions, ensuring accurate reporting, tracking, and trend analysis for suits and claims. You will act as the primary liaison between the organization, third-party administrators, and outside counsel, coordinating complex legal support for medical professional liability matters.
In this capacity, you will conduct legal research under the guidance of the Director of Insurance and Risk Litigation or the General Counsel. Your responsibilities include developing and implementing litigation policies and procedures, managing day-to-day claims activities, and collecting data to support risk-related analysis. The role requires providing monthly summaries of litigation activities and ensuring the seamless administration of the claims process from documentation review to final reporting.
