About the Role
The Claims Advisor serves as a key liaison between clients, carriers, Third-Party Administrators (TPAs), and internal teams. In this role, you will manage and oversee complex commercial claims across Property, Liability, Construction, and Workers Compensation lines. You will act as a proactive guide, conducting claim reviews, interpreting coverage, and ensuring timely, accurate reporting to support clients throughout the full lifecycle of their claims.
Your day will involve coordinating with multiple stakeholders to drive settlements, analyzing claim trends, and maintaining detailed file documentation. You will navigate various carrier databases, review policy language and contracts to determine liability and insurable interest, and provide strategic guidance to clients regarding claim processes, likely outcomes, and timelines. This position is ideal for a self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit who is challenged by the opportunity to grow the business and protect the future of others.

Key Responsibilities
- check_circleManage and oversee complex commercial claims across Property, Liability, Construction, and Workers Compensation lines
- check_circleMaintain detailed file documentation and diary of files for follow-ups and database updates
- check_circleCoordinate claim reviews with multiple insurance carriers and TPAs while meeting with clients as needed
- check_circleReview policies, summons, leases, and contracts to interpret coverage and determine liability
- check_circleCreate and maintain claims trending, lag time reports, and loss analysis of complex claims
- check_circleProvide guidance to clients regarding the claims process, likely outcomes, and timelines
- check_circleReport new claims to carriers within company standards and ensure adjuster assignment within 24 hours
- check_circleCommunicate and strategize with insureds, carriers, adjusters, and attorneys to achieve claim settlements
- check_circlePrepare Claim Kits, obtain Loss Runs, and generate Loss Summaries for customers
- check_circleDispute carrier coverage positions by reviewing position letters and drafting appropriate correspondence
Requirements
- verified3+ years of experience handling Property, Liability, Workers Compensation, or Construction claims
- verifiedProperty & Casualty License required or willingness to obtain within 90 days
- verifiedHigh school or equivalent education
