About the Role

As a General Liability Claim professional, you will be responsible for investigating, evaluating, reserving, negotiating, and resolving assigned Bodily Injury and Property Damage claims under general supervision. You will serve as a technical resource, ensuring quality claim handling throughout the entire lifecycle—from initial customer contact and coverage analysis to final resolution.

Your day will involve timely communication with insureds, policyholders, claimants, law enforcement, and medical providers to determine liability and damages. You will coordinate with experts such as nurse consultants and fraud investigators, manage complex litigation plans, and represent the company in legal proceedings including depositions, mediations, and trials. A key part of your role is maintaining strict compliance with internal quality standards and state-specific regulations while utilizing effective diary management systems to ensure all claims are handled promptly and accurately.
