About the Role
The Middle School Ministry Intern/Coordinator is a vital part of Central Ohio Youth for Christ (COYFC), dedicated to advancing our mission within the Franklinton community. This role exists to implement Youth For Christ's holistic ministry model and the YFC 5 Essentials, specifically targeting middle school youth. You will partner closely with the City Life Center team to build Christ-centered relationships with students through a blend of outreach, mentoring, sports, educational programming, discipleship, and spiritual leadership.
Day in the Life
Your work will be dynamic and community-focused, taking place across local schools, neighborhoods, and the City Life Center. You will lead in-school mentoring groups and organize sports and recreational activities that serve as gateways to deeper spiritual connection. Beyond the activities, you will serve as a Christ-centered role model, guiding students in their spiritual, emotional, social, and academic growth. The role requires active engagement in evening and weekend events, including camps, retreats, and outreach initiatives, ensuring a consistent presence that supports the holistic development of the youth we serve.
