Santander is a global leader and innovator in the financial services industry, evolving from a high-impact brand into a technology-driven organization. Our people are at the heart of this journey, driving a customer-centric transformation that values bold thinking, innovation, and the courage to challenge what's possible. Within our Structured Finance division, the Tax Equity Financing business specializes in originating, advising, and structuring financing for specific large-scale, long-term projects for corporate and government clients. These projects span energy exploration, production, transmission, infrastructure, digital infrastructure, and real estate.
As a Product Specialist in the Tax Equity Financing business, you will be a key member of deal teams leading the origination, execution, and distribution of tax equity and tax credit financing transactions. Your work will directly support the firm's strategic objectives while meeting profitability and risk targets. You will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to prepare marketing materials, craft proposals, and make presentations to clients. The role involves deep research and analysis of industries and market data, negotiating mandates and transaction documents, and developing complex cash flow models. You will also participate in strategic planning and business management for the tax equity business, ensuring that every transaction is rigorously vetted through due diligence.
