Healthy Kids Programs is more than a childcare provider; we are shaping the future of childcare. As one of Inc. 5,000's fastest-growing organizations, we offer Early Learning, Before and After School, and Summer Camp programs across more than 150 locations. As a certified benefit corporation, our mission is to make childcare accessible and affordable for today's families while positively impacting the communities we serve.
We are hiring Teachers for our After School Program for the 2026-2027 school year at Blue Ridge Elementary School in Ararat, VA. This part-time role is designed for individuals passionate about working with children and making a difference in their lives.
You will join a team responsible for facilitating hands-on activities following the Healthy Kids Curriculum, which includes fitness, STEAM, academic, art, and other group activities, as well as homework assistance. Your day will involve providing a safe, healthy, clean, and fun environment while acting as a positive role model for children in the program. You will communicate daily with parents and family members via the Playground App and ensure all activities adhere to state guidelines, Healthy Kids Extended Day Program policies, and host school policies.
At Healthy Kids Programs, our people are at the heart of everything we do. We create supportive and engaging environments where team members feel valued, empowered, and excited to grow. When you join our award-winning team, you become part of a community that values purpose, professional development, and meaningful work.
A standout feature of this role is our Employer-Paid Childcare benefit. Healthy Kids Programs provides childcare for school-age children (ages 5–12) enrolled in our program on the days and during the hours you work. Employer contributions cover the cost of care, allowing you to focus on your job while your child participates in a safe, structured, and engaging program, all without needing to arrange outside care.
