About the Role
We are hiring staff for our Before School Program for the 2025-2026 school year at J.V. Forrestal Elementary School in Beacon, NY. This part-time role is designed for individuals who are passionate about working with children and making a difference in their lives.
As a Childcare Program Staff member, you will be the first point of contact for families each morning. You will facilitate hands-on activities following the Healthy Kids Curriculum, which includes fitness, STEAM, academic, and art activities, as well as homework assistance. Your goal is to provide a safe, healthy, clean, and fun environment while acting as a positive role model for children ages 5–12.
The day begins at 7:00 AM and ends when the last child leaves the program. You will communicate daily with parents and family members via the Playground App and ensure all state guidelines and school policies are followed. Certain positions may also perform management functions such as maintaining accurate attendance records and handling registration.
