Healthy Kids Programs is more than a childcare provider; we are shaping the future of childcare. As one of Inc. 5,000's fastest-growing organizations, we offer Early Learning, Before and After School, and Summer Camp programs across more than 150 locations. As a certified benefit corporation, our mission is to make childcare accessible and affordable for today's families while positively impacting the communities we serve.
We are seeking an energetic and passionate Summer Camp Director to guide campers through a summer filled with fun, friendship, and unforgettable adventures. This is your chance to lead, inspire, and create lifelong memories for children while being part of a supportive, award-winning team.
In this role, you will foster a positive, inclusive environment where campers feel supported and engaged. You will serve as the face of the program at Dorset Elementary School, communicating daily with families and supporting community outreach to promote our mission. The position requires a leader who can model enthusiasm and a can-do attitude, ensuring a safe and structured experience for all participants.
This is a part-time, non-exempt position based at Dorset Elementary School in Dorset, VT. The schedule includes a pre-summer period of up to 3 hours per week, increasing to up to 6 hours per week beginning mid-June. During the summer, shifts run Monday through Friday between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM. There is potential to continue working beyond the summer with different hours.
At Healthy Kids Programs, our people are at the heart of everything we do. We create supportive and engaging environments where team members feel valued, empowered, and excited to grow. When you join our award-winning team, you become part of a community that values purpose, professional development, and meaningful work.
A featured benefit of this role is employer-paid childcare for school-age children (ages 5–12) enrolled in our program on the days and during the hours you work. This contribution covers the cost of care, allowing you to focus on your job while your child participates in a safe, structured, and engaging program.
