About the Role
The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) serves as a strategic financial leader and key business partner to the CEO and Executive Leadership Team. This role transcends traditional accounting, driving profitability, optimizing capital allocation, and building scalable financial infrastructure across a diversified platform. The platform encompasses advisory services, capital management, fund management, real estate, and various other company entities.
As a strategic advisor, you will lead enterprise-wide financial strategy, supporting M&A activities, capital raises, and investment decisions while aligning financial goals with operational priorities. You will oversee financial operations across multiple companies, ensuring accurate intercompany accounting, consolidations, and standardized reporting structures. Your leadership will extend to managing enterprise cash flow, liquidity, and capital structures, while partnering with investment teams to optimize fund capital deployment and returns.
The CFO will also provide critical oversight for fund and investor financials, ensuring the accuracy of investor reporting, capital account statements, and fund performance metrics. Additionally, you will manage property-level financials, including NOI, occupancy, and capital expenditures, ensuring alignment between property operations and financial goals. Ultimately, you will lead and mentor a high-performing finance and IT organization, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities
- check_circleServe as strategic financial advisor to CEO and Executive Leadership Team on growth, profitability, and risk
- check_circleOversee financial operations across multiple entities including intercompany accounting, eliminations, and consolidations
- check_circleManage enterprise cash flow, liquidity, capital allocation, debt structures, and banking relationships
- check_circleEnsure accuracy of investor reporting, capital account statements, and fund financials including IRR and MOIC
- check_circleOversee property-level financials including NOI, occupancy, rent roll performance, and capital expenditure ROI analysis
- check_circleLead and mentor finance and IT teams to build a high-performing, accountable finance organization
- check_circleLead enterprise-wide financial strategy, M&A activities, capital raises, and investment decisions
- check_circleOwn budgeting, forecasting, and rolling forecasts while developing consolidated financial reporting and KPI dashboards
- check_circleEstablish and maintain strong internal controls, audit readiness, tax strategy, and GAAP compliance
Requirements
- verified12-18+ years in finance leadership roles
- verifiedExperience in multi-entity, complex organizations ($75M+ preferred)
- verifiedStrong exposure to at least two of: Capital markets/fund management, Real estate finance, Healthcare finance, Advisory/professional services
- verifiedProven experience leading finance and technology teams
- verifiedBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- verifiedCPA strongly preferred
- verifiedMBA or advanced degree a plus
Nice to Have
Experience in multi-entity, complex organizations with $75M+ revenue. CPA certification. MBA or advanced degree.
