About Power to Decide

Power to Decide is a national nonprofit, nonpartisan organization. We envision a world where everyone—no matter who they are or where they live—has control over their bodies and can decide if, when, and under what circumstances to get pregnant and have a child. Our mission is to advance sexual and reproductive well-being for all by providing trusted information, expanding access to quality services, and catalyzing culture change.

About the Role

The Chief Financial & People Officer (CFPO) serves as a strategic partner to the CEO and the Board of Directors, defining and driving the organization’s financial and people strategy. This role ensures that the organization stewards its human capital and financial resources efficiently and effectively in service of our mission to achieve sexual and reproductive health for all.

As a member of the collaborative senior leadership team and the primary liaison to the Board of Directors’ Finance & Audit Committee, the CFPO aligns mission, resources, and organizational design. The successful candidate will be a proactive problem-solver who embraces innovation, maintains the highest ethical standards, and values diversity of thought, backgrounds, and perspectives. You will work effectively as part of an integrated cross-functional team, translating complex financial and legal compliance issues into accessible terms while fostering a positive, safe, equitable, and inclusive organizational culture.

Hiring Process

To support a fair and organized hiring process, we encourage candidates to submit all applications and hiring-related communication through our official application system.

Our Culture & Commitment

Power to Decide is committed to maintaining a diverse staff and an inclusive, multicultural environment. We are proud to provide equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants without regard to actual or perceived race, color, religion, national origin, parenting status (including pregnancy, childbirth or related medical conditions), age, marital status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, veteran status, uniformed service member status, disability, or any other characteristic protected by law.
