The Chief Enterprise Architect (CEA) serves as the senior Information Technology leader accountable for translating enterprise strategy into coherent, executable business and technology outcomes. This role ensures that technology strategy, evolution roadmaps, and selections are actively governed to enable the company's goals in customer experience, growth, productivity, compliance, security, operational simplification, capital allocation, and cost optimization.
You will act as a trusted advisor to the CIO, IT leadership, and business division heads, requiring executive-level influence to challenge constructively and guide technology strategies. Your mission is to shape the architectural technology strategy, drive execution, and serve as the integrator across business units, product teams, and technology domains.
In this capacity, you will partner with executive leaders to translate strategy into target operating models and investment priorities. You will lead the future-state architecture across business capabilities, value streams, platforms, and ecosystems, connecting strategy to execution through implementable, sequenced roadmaps. A key part of your day involves providing fact-based guidance on readiness, trade-offs, and change capacity while championing the establishment of a rolling 5-year Process-IT Target State Landscape.
You will also lead the architecture community with a clear mission and governance model, nurturing members to advance business and technology acumen. By establishing architectural principles that emphasize enterprise-wide leverage and process simplification, you will ensure the community operates with precise standards while actively engaging in deploying optimal solutions. Your work directly impacts the reduction of architectural complexity, technical debt, and IT operating costs.
