About the Role
Cruz Associates Inc. is seeking a Chemical Engineer to support operations at the Naval Surface Warfare Center in Indian Head, MD. In this position, you will perform project engineering duties that bridge technical execution with strategic planning. Your work will involve preparing cost proposals, planning project execution, and developing engineering solutions to complex problems.
You will be responsible for preparing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and specifications while ensuring all quality requirements are met. A key part of your day will involve communicating project results to management and team members, utilizing intermediate engineering techniques and a strong foundation in physics, math, and science to drive professional scientific work.
Qualifications & Security
To succeed in this role, candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field. A critical requirement for this position is the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance. You must also be prepared to work within a production environment and complete all necessary qualification and certification statuses.
