About the Role

As a Respiratory Therapist in our Cardiopulmonary department, you will embrace a vital mission where your skills, compassion, and dedication make a remarkable difference in the lives of those we serve. This role is designed for a professional who excels in delivering and assessing response to ordered therapies, analyzing blood samples, and evaluating respiratory care policies based on patient outcomes and current research.

In this position, you will respond to codes and emergent assistance, operating electrophysiology and cardiac stress test equipment to perform clinical diagnostic exams. You will also play a key role in patient education, informing families about illnesses and connecting them with community support resources. Your day-to-day responsibilities include maintaining equipment storage, performing preventative maintenance and calibration, and ensuring the highest standards of care are met.

Hiring Process

Qualified applicants should possess a current Tennessee Respiratory Therapist license and be ABG Endorsed. An Associate degree or completion of a Respiratory Therapy Certification Program is required. Additionally, Basic Life Support certification is required at the time of hire, with Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support required within six months.
