About the Role
As a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist, you will provide safe, high-quality anesthesia care across a variety of surgical, procedural, and obstetric settings. This role is designed for a skilled professional who thrives in a collaborative atmosphere, working closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and clinical staff to deliver patient-centered care. You will be responsible for the full spectrum of anesthesia management, from comprehensive pre-anesthesia assessments and individualized care planning to induction, maintenance, and post-anesthesia recovery. Your expertise will ensure the safety and comfort of patients while navigating complex clinical scenarios and emergencies with precision and calm.

Key Responsibilities
- check_circleProvide safe, high-quality anesthesia care for surgical, procedural, and obstetric patients
- check_circleConduct comprehensive pre-anesthesia assessments including medical history and risk evaluation
- check_circleDevelop and implement individualized anesthesia care plans in collaboration with the care team
- check_circleAdminister general, regional, monitored anesthesia care, and sedation using evidence-based techniques
- check_circleManage airway and ventilation, including intubation and ventilator management
- check_circleProvide perioperative pain management including regional blocks and post-anesthesia analgesia
- check_circleEnsure accurate and timely documentation of anesthesia care in the electronic medical record
- check_circleCollaborate with surgeons, nurses, and ancillary staff to support coordinated patient-centered care
- check_circleAdhere to regulatory standards and professional practice guidelines to promote safety and compliance
- check_circleContribute to quality improvement initiatives, clinical protocol development, and patient safety projects
- check_circleEngage in ongoing professional development including continuing education and peer review discussions
- check_circleRespond promptly to anesthesia-related emergencies such as hemodynamic instability and airway compromise
Requirements
- verifiedCurrent Registered Nurse (RN) license in applicable state of practice
- verifiedCurrent Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) certification through the NBCRNA
- verifiedCompletion of an accredited nurse anesthesia program (Master's or Doctoral level)
