About the Role
As a Pharmacy Technician at Walgreens, you play a vital role in supporting the pharmacist and ensuring the pharmacy department runs smoothly. You will be the face of the pharmacy for many customers, delivering a distinctive and delightful customer experience by greeting patients, offering assistance, and resolving issues with care and courtesy.
Your day involves a blend of clinical support and operational excellence. Under the direct supervision of a pharmacist, you will utilize pharmacy systems to process prescriptions, verify medication details, and manage inventory. You will also handle cash registers, process third-party claims, and assist with clinical services such as collecting samples. If you hold PTCB certification, you will have the opportunity to coach other technicians and cashiers, helping to elevate the entire team's performance.

Requirements

Nice to Have
Six months of experience in a retail environment. Prior work experience with Walgreens. Good math skills for filling prescriptions accurately (counting, measuring, and weighing medications). Good computer skills. Knowledge of store inventory control. PTCB certification.
