Key Responsibilities
- check_circlePerform personal care needs including baths, oral hygiene, and changing bed linen
- check_circleAssess patient condition and report significant changes to the Case Manager
- check_circlePlan and prepare nutritious meals and assist with shopping as assigned
- check_circleAssist with self-administered medications as allowed by state regulations
- check_circleAdhere to documentation standards and professional conduct procedures
- check_circleParticipate in quality assessment and performance improvement activities
- check_circleProvide skin care to prevent tissue breakdown over bony prominences
- check_circleOffer respite care for patient family and caregivers when on-site
- check_circlePerform range of motion exercises and transfers as directed by nursing staff
- check_circleMaintain patient living areas clean and orderly
- check_circleMonitor and record vital signs such as temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure
- check_circleAssist patients with dressing, undressing, feeding, and ambulation
Requirements
- verifiedCertified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
- verified75 hours of classroom and supervised practical training
- verifiedCurrent CPR certification
- verifiedValid driver's license with insured vehicle
