Dove Healthcare is an innovative healthcare provider and community partner operating 11 skilled nursing and rehabilitation centers, six assisted living residences, and three independent living complexes across Wisconsin. Our core mission is to provide compassionate care and service to meet the needs of those who depend on us, committing to excellence through high standards, disciplined leadership, and mutual respect for all.
The Regional Vent Center in Chippewa Falls has been a cornerstone of the local medical community since 1987. We are the only state-approved ventilator-dependent skilled nursing center in the Chippewa Valley and one of only eight in the entire state of Wisconsin. Our 31-bed facility boasts a strong history of weaning patients from ventilators and tracheostomies, helping them return home whenever possible.
As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at our Regional Vent Center, you will care for patients of all ages, ranging from late teens to older adults with an average age of approximately 57. You will work within a unique, high-demand environment where steady census ensures desirable pay and hours. Unlike typical facilities, you will never be mandated to stay late or come in early.
You will be part of a highly specialized team supported by a higher staff ratio and innovative technology. On average, you will work alongside 11-12 team members, with a maximum census of 31 patients (excluding management). On the night shift (NOC), you will specifically work with 7 team members. This setting allows you to care for patients with advanced, chronic respiratory needs and complex medical conditions, including IVs, tube feedings, and wound care.
You will feel confident knowing you are part of an experienced team that includes a board-certified pulmonologist, a nurse practitioner, 24-hour respiratory therapist coverage, a ventilator-certified nursing team, a wound care-certified nurse, on-site dialysis, and physical, occupational, and speech therapists with ventilator and tracheostomy training. In this role, you will assist residents with activities of daily living, providing a safe, comfortable, and home-like environment while making a difference in people's lives.
Because of our unique status, you will learn new skills, advance existing ones, and build deep relationships with patients, their families, and colleagues in a way you never have before. We offer casual opportunities and a supportive culture where you can grow your career through tuition reimbursement, continuing education, and career mapping.
If you are not yet a certified nursing assistant, we encourage you to apply; we offer classes year-round. Visit dovehealthcare.com/cnaclass for more information. Individuals who have successfully completed a 75-hour training program and are waiting to complete the state exam are also encouraged to apply.
All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or Veteran status.
