As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in our Health Center, you will develop an awareness of residents' interests and needs, assisting them to maximize their independence. You will help create a safe environment in which to provide care, engaging in our philosophy for "Person-Directed Care."
Your day will involve providing effective and courteous service to all residents, family members, guests, and team members. You will encourage autonomy in decision-making, identifying residents' needs, wants, and preferences. You will work collaboratively to ensure each resident has the necessary supplies and resources to pursue their interests individually or in cooperation with others. Additionally, you will be proactive in organizing care, alerting the Interdisciplinary Team (IDT) to needed changes in a resident's plan of care, and accurately reporting unusual symptoms or problems to your supervisor.
Final candidates must successfully complete a pre-employment physical, a physical abilities test, and the Department of Justice Criminal background clearance.
