Carolina Family Care, Inc. (CFC) is part of the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) system, dedicated to providing high-quality patient care within a clinical practice setting. The team operates under the direction of physicians and licensed healthcare providers to ensure seamless patient experiences at the James Island location.

About the Role

This position serves as a vital support pillar for the clinical team, ensuring accurate and compassionate patient care. You will be responsible for rooming patients, taking vitals and health history, and documenting findings in the electronic medical record. The role involves administering injections, assisting with minor procedures, and preparing patients for physician exams.

Your day-to-day responsibilities include maintaining the cleanliness and supply readiness of exam rooms, ensuring all clinical equipment is calibrated and maintained according to OSHA, DHEC, and UMA standards. You will act as a key communicator, triaging phone calls, relaying patient conditions to physicians, and providing patient education on treatments and medications. Additionally, you will manage the flow of patients, assist with scheduling, and monitor the distribution of medication samples and controlled substances as ordered.
