About the Role

We are seeking a full-time Certified Medical Assistant to support operations at Sandia National Laboratories in Albuquerque, NM. This role serves as a vital bridge between administrative efficiency and patient care, ensuring the clinic runs smoothly while delivering high-quality entry-level health services.

In this position, you will manage the daily rhythm of the clinic, from greeting patients and scheduling appointments to handling medical referrals and correspondence. Your day will involve a blend of administrative precision and clinical support, including maintaining medical supply stocks, performing autoclaving, and assisting with chart preparation and billing. You will also engage directly with patients by obtaining histories, recording vital signs, and performing routine specialized procedures such as phlebotomy, all while adhering to strict safety and infection control protocols.

Hiring Process

Candidates must be graduates of a nationally accredited formal program in Medical Assisting and possess urgent or primary care experience. A critical requirement for this role is the ability to pass a Secret Security Clearance. The selected candidate will work Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm.
