About the Role
The Elementary Classroom Teacher serves as a vital partner in the Carlisle School District, dedicated to providing standards-based instruction that aligns with Arkansas Academic Standards and district curriculum. This role is designed to deliver high-quality, evidence-based education grounded in the Science of Reading, ensuring that the diverse needs of all students are met effectively.
In this position, you will plan and deliver systematic literacy instruction while differentiating lessons to support individual student growth. The day-to-day involves assessing and monitoring student progress, maintaining a safe and effective classroom environment, and integrating instructional technology. You will also engage in regular communication with parents and guardians, participate in collaborative planning, and contribute to professional development initiatives.
Terms of Employment
This is a 190-day contract position in accordance with district policy and the salary schedule. Performance evaluations will be conducted per district policy and Arkansas Department of Education guidelines.
