At HCA Florida Kendall Hospital, our colleagues are deeply committed to giving back to the community. Last year alone, our team invested over 156,000 hours volunteering in local neighborhoods. As a Certified Cardiographic Technician (CCT) or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS), you will join an organization that values service and is recognized as one of the World's Most Ethical Companies® by the Ethisphere Institute more than ten times.
Our facility is a premier acute care center located in west Miami-Dade County, featuring 417 beds and two full-service free-standing ER facilities. We hold prestigious distinctions, including the HealthGrades Distinguished Hospital Award for Overall Clinical Excellence (top 5% nationally), Level I Adult and Pediatric Trauma Center certification, and verification as a Thrombectomy-Capable Stroke Center and one of only five American Burn Association verified Burn Centers in the state. With six ACGME accredited Graduate Medical Education programs, we strive to be a leading community-based research hospital.
As a CVL Technologist Cert, you will assume responsibility and accountability for a group of patients within a designated time frame. Your role involves providing care through the therapeutic use of self, the nursing process, and the effective use of the environment and instrumentation, while collaborating with other healthcare members. You will operate within the established policies and procedures of HCA Florida Kendall Hospital, contributing to a dynamic career that rewards clinical professionals for their commitment and provides significant growth opportunities.
HCA Healthcare is driven by the philosophy of our co-founder, Dr. Thomas Frist, Sr.: "There is so much good to do in the world and so many different ways to do it." This mission is reflected in our recent investment of an estimated $3.7 billion in charitable care, uninsured discounts, and uncompensated expenses. We encourage you to enjoy a healthy lifestyle outside of work in a diverse and friendly community while helping us raise the bar in patient care.
We are currently reviewing applications for the CVL Technologist Cert opening. Qualified candidates will be contacted directly for interviews. Please submit your application to join our team.
HCA Florida Kendall Hospital is an equal opportunity employer. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, color, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status, veteran status, or disability status.
