About the Department

The College of Medicine, Department of Anesthesiology, is seeking a Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant (CAA). This position is integral to supporting the University's mission and commitment to providing excellent patient care within a dynamic academic medical center.

About the Role

As a Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant, you will provide comprehensive anesthetic care under the direction of a qualified physician anesthesiologist. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve gathering patient data, performing detailed patient evaluations, and administering the therapeutic plan formulated for the patient's anesthetic care. You will work across various settings, including intensive care units, pain clinics, and operating rooms, ensuring continuity of care from induction through the post-operative recovery period. This role also includes participating in the clinical instruction of others and performing necessary administrative duties within the department.
