About the Role

As a Central Processing Technician, you will be the backbone of our sterile processing department. Your primary mission is to decontaminate, inspect, assemble, sterilize, and distribute surgical instruments and equipment. This role is critical to maintaining the highest standards of infection prevention and ensuring that the operating room staff has the precise tools needed for every case.

In this fast-paced outpatient setting, you will work closely with OR staff to address urgent instrument needs and manage turnover times. Your day will involve operating and monitoring advanced sterilization and washing equipment, maintaining meticulous documentation of sterilization cycles, and managing inventory to ensure supplies are always ready for scheduled procedures. You will serve as a key partner in upholding strict AAMI and AORN infection prevention standards, directly contributing to the safety and success of our surgical services.
