About the Role
Park City Surgery Center is dedicated to providing safe, efficient, same-day surgical care for our outpatient community. The Central Processing Technician plays a vital role in this mission by ensuring that every surgical instrument and supply is meticulously prepared for the operating room. This on-site position is the backbone of our sterile processing workflow, bridging the gap between decontamination and the surgical suite.
In this role, you will be the guardian of infection control standards. Your day involves a rhythmic cycle of decontaminating, inspecting, assembling, and sterilizing surgical instruments. You will operate and monitor sterilization equipment, ensuring every cycle meets strict regulatory requirements. Beyond the technical tasks, you will collaborate closely with operating room staff to prioritize instrument needs, resolve set discrepancies, and keep daily surgery schedules running smoothly. The ideal candidate brings a strong sense of integrity, teamwork, and an unwavering attention to detail to every case cart prepared.
