About the Role
This position is for a Contract Driver (1099, Solo) operating a Dry Van on Over-The-Road (OTR) line haul routes. The role is designed for drivers who prefer a schedule that is up to them, with negotiable routes. Drivers will not be responsible for loading or unloading cargo.
Compensation & Schedule
Drivers can expect an average gross weekly pay between $2,000 and $3,000, based on a rate of $0.55 CPM and an average of 3,000 to 3,500 miles per week. The typical home time schedule involves being out for 4 to 14 days, with the flexibility to stay out longer if desired. Drivers earn 2 days of home time for every 5 days worked and are guaranteed to be home at least one weekend per month.
Orientation Details
Orientation may be performed partly or in full online. While orientation itself is not paid, the company covers accommodation and some or all travel expenses. Drivers are provided with their own room during orientation, though meals are not included.
