CDL Live Haul Driver

About the Role

As a Live Haul Driver, you will play a vital role in our supply chain by transporting birds between poultry farms and processing plants. This position is designed for drivers who value local, home-daily routes, allowing you to maintain a consistent schedule while supporting our operations.

The Day-to-Day

Your shift will focus on the safe and efficient movement of live livestock. You will be responsible for performing pre-trip inspections to ensure your truck is road-ready and that the load is secured properly. Throughout your 10-hour shift, you will navigate local routes, adhering strictly to Department of Transportation (DOT) safety rules, company policies, and all applicable local, state, and federal regulations.

In addition to driving, you will maintain the cleanliness of your truck and complete all required documentation. The role requires working in an outdoor environment, often in inclement weather, and handling the unique conditions associated with live animal transport.
