About the Role
Live haul drivers are the vital link between poultry farms and processing plants, ensuring the safe and timely transport of birds. This position offers local, home-daily routes, allowing drivers to maintain a consistent schedule while supporting the company's mission of efficient agricultural logistics.
Day in the Life
As a 3rd Shift driver, you will operate a truck to transport live birds from the farm to the plant. Your day begins with performing pre-trip inspections to ensure the load is secured properly and the vehicle is road-ready. Throughout the shift, you will maintain truck cleanliness and complete all required documentation in compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) safety rules, company policies, and local, state, and federal regulations. The role requires working in an outdoor environment, including inclement weather, and involves regular interaction with raw, live animal odors.

Hiring Process
Candidates must possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License and at least one year of verifiable commercial driving experience with a clean motor vehicle driving record. Selected applicants will undergo on-the-job training to ensure readiness for the 3rd shift schedule.
