CDL Live Haul Driver

Live haul drivers hold a Class A CDL transporting birds between poultry farms and processing plants, allowing for local, home-daily routes on the 3rd shift. This position is integral to the company's supply chain, ensuring the safe and timely movement of livestock from farm to facility.

Drivers are responsible for transporting live birds while maintaining strict adherence to Department of Transportation (DOT) safety rules, company policies, and all local, state, and federal regulations. The role involves performing pre-trip inspections to ensure loads are secured properly, completing all required documentation, and maintaining truck cleanliness. Drivers work in an outdoor environment, often in inclement weather, and must be comfortable working around raw, live animal odors.
