As a Driving Instructor, you will provide comprehensive CDL training courses, including basic, advanced, and specialized tractor-trailer training for entry-level students and corporate customers. This role is designed for individuals who possess good independent judgment, courtesy, and professionalism.
A key component of this position involves travel assignments to train corporate customers at their facilities. These assignments typically last 1-4 weeks and require Class A training. While the curriculum may vary based on customer needs, you will be responsible for communicating instructions, assessing student performance, and providing guidance on performing maneuvers on skills driving ranges and on public roads during 4 to 12-hour shifts. You must demonstrate the SAGE curriculum subject matter and skills, ensuring your knowledge and performance abilities far exceed the objectives of the curriculum.
