CDL Driver - Residential

About the Role

The Residential Driver is the face of our waste removal services, dedicated to safely, efficiently, and courteously serving our customers. In this role, you will be responsible for collecting solid waste and recyclables from curbside and backdoor locations, transporting them to post-collection facilities, and ensuring a high standard of service for every household on your route.

You will operate residential, side-load, and/or rear-load trucks along with ancillary equipment and hydraulic systems. Your day involves maneuvering vehicles into tight spaces, compacting waste, and maintaining the cleanliness of the vehicle cab and exterior. As a key member of the team, you will also identify prohibited waste items, manage assigned helpers if applicable, and work closely with supervisors to improve routing efficiencies.
