CDL Driver - Front Load

About the Role

Front-End Drivers operate front-end trucks to provide waste and recyclable collection services for multi-family residential and commercial routes. This position is essential to fulfilling customer contracts by servicing multiple locations daily, ensuring waste is efficiently removed and transported to the appropriate stations, landfills, or drop-off locations.

Day in the Life

Your day involves driving commercial frontload or ancillary equipment along designated routes to mechanically collect solid waste. You will interact with customers and the general public, answering questions and responding to requests courteously. The role requires maneuvering the truck into tight clearance spaces, using mirrors and GPS to navigate, and performing daily pre- and post-trip inspections. You will also be responsible for cleaning up any spills to maintain site safety and ensuring all safety standards and equipment checks are followed throughout the shift.
