About the Role
Front-End Drivers operate front-end trucks to provide waste and recyclable collection services for multi-family residential and commercial routes. In fulfillment of customer contracts, you will service multiple customers daily, removing waste and transporting it to the appropriate station, landfill, or drop-off location. This role requires navigating designated routes, maneuvering equipment in tight spaces, and ensuring safe, efficient operations in an outdoor environment exposed to varying weather conditions.

Key Responsibilities
- check_circleDrive commercial frontload trucks along designated routes to collect solid waste and recyclables
- check_circleOpen container enclosures and roll cans into position for dumping
- check_circlePerform daily pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and submit condition reports
- check_circleManeuver truck into tight clearance spaces and back up using mirrors
- check_circleMonitor operations for loose debris and visually scan customer sites before and after dumping
- check_circleInteract courteously with customers and notify supervisors of issues requiring action
- check_circleClean loose trash from truck and ground to maintain site safety and cleanliness
- check_circleFollow safe operating practices including lock out/tag out procedures
- check_circleUse key maps and GPS to locate service addresses and navigate routes
- check_circleMaintain and submit logbooks, route sheets, and vehicle condition reports as required
Requirements
