About the Role

As a US Foods Delivery Driver, you will be a critical member of our team and one of the most important faces of our organization. Your efforts serve as the foundation for our success, defined by our pillars of cultural beliefs, work ethic, collaborative spirit, and service. You will deliver a wide range of products—including meats, produce, frozen goods, groceries, dry goods, equipment, and supplies—to customer drop-off sites.

This role is ideal for those who relish the chance to push their potential and grow within the US Foods family. You will be responsible for delivering best-in-class customer service, ensuring orders meet scheduled delivery times, and verifying deliveries with customers. The position requires frequent stops, the ability to perform manual heavy lifting up to 80 pounds, and working in various weather conditions.

A Day in the Life

This role involves multi-yard trips to get routes started, requiring flexibility and a willingness to commute to various assigned yards located in Oregon. Route assignments may cover multiple yards and can alternate on a weekly basis. Schedules typically start early in the morning (ranging between 1:00 AM and 6:00 AM) and may include weekends. The average work week consists of 4 or 5 days, with some overnight routes possible.
