As a US Foods Delivery Driver, you will be a critical member of our team and one of the most important faces of our organization. You will deliver meats, produce, frozen goods, groceries, dry goods, equipment, and supplies to customer drop-off sites. Your efforts form the foundation of our success, defined by our pillars of cultural beliefs, work ethic, collaborative spirit, and service.
This role is ideal for those who are flexible and open to making multi-yard trips to start their routes. You will relish the chance to push your potential and grow within the US Foods family. As a driver, you will be responsible for delivering best-in-class customer service, meeting scheduled delivery times, and verifying deliveries with customers. You will also handle manual tasks, including unloading products and performing repeated heavy lifting of items up to 80 pounds, often in inclement weather conditions.
Your schedule will typically involve early morning start times ranging between 1:00 AM and 6:00 AM, Monday through Saturday. The average work week consists of 4 or 5 days, though schedules may include weekends. Route assignments cover multiple yards located in Oregon, and routes may alternate on a weekly basis. This position requires commute and travel to various assigned yards to get routes started, with travel times varying based on assignment.
