The company is built on the belief that "YOU Matter," where hard work is rewarded and employees are respected for their dedication.
As a US Foods Delivery Driver, you will be a critical member of the team and one of the most important faces of our organization. You will deliver a wide variety of products—including meats, produce, frozen goods, groceries, dry goods, equipment, and supplies—to customer drop-off sites. Your efforts form the foundation of US Foods' success, defined by our pillars of cultural beliefs, work ethic, collaborative spirit, and service.
This role is ideal for Class A Drivers who are flexible and open to making multi-yard trips to start routes. The position requires a commitment to best-in-class customer service, ensuring orders are delivered on time while maintaining productivity. You will also handle unloading products, verifying deliveries, and collecting payments where necessary, often working in inclement weather conditions.
Your schedule typically involves early morning start times ranging between 1:00 AM and 6:00 AM, with availability required Monday through Saturday. The average work week consists of 4 or 5 days, though schedules may include weekends. You will perform frequent stops throughout your shift and may be required to perform manual heavy lifting of items up to 80 pounds. For certain route assignments, overnight travel may be required, with hotel accommodations and meal allowances provided.
