About the Role
As a US Foods Delivery Driver, you will be a critical part of our team and one of the most important faces of our organization. You will deliver meats, produce, frozen goods, groceries, dry goods, equipment, and supplies to customer drop-off sites. Your efforts form the foundation of our success, defined by our pillars of cultural beliefs, work ethic, collaborative spirit, and service.
This role is ideal for those who relish the chance to push their potential and grow. You will be responsible for delivering best-in-class customer service, meeting scheduled delivery times, and verifying deliveries with customers. The position requires frequent stops, manual heavy lifting up to 80 pounds, and the ability to work in inclement weather. You may also be required to collect cash or checks where needed.
A Day in the Life
This position involves multi-yard trips to get routes started, requiring flexibility and a willingness to commute to various assigned yards located in Oregon. Route assignments may cover multiple yards and can alternate on a weekly basis. Schedules typically start early in the morning, with start times ranging between 1:00 AM and 6:00 AM. The average work week consists of 4 or 5 days, Monday through Saturday, and may include weekends. Some local routes may require overnight work.

Important Registration Requirement:
Registering with the FMCSA Clearinghouse is a mandatory requirement by the Department of Transportation. All drivers must register on the secure online database, which provides real-time information regarding drug and alcohol program violations for CDL and CLP holders. If you have not yet registered, please visit clearinghouse.fmcsa.dot.gov to complete the process.

Requirements
- verifiedMust be at least 21 years of age
- verifiedValid CDL Class A with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications
- verifiedHigh school diploma or GED preferred
- verifiedValid U.S. driver's license with proper endorsements
- verifiedNo more than two traffic convictions in past two years, no DUI in past three years, no license suspensions in past three years
- verifiedMinimum six months commercial driving experience OR three months food and beverage delivery experience
- verifiedMust be able to pass DOT physical
- verifiedMust register to FMCSA Clearinghouse
