About the Role
As a US Foods Delivery Driver, you will be a critical part of the team and one of the most important faces of our organization. You will deliver meats, produce, frozen goods, groceries, dry goods, equipment, and supplies to customer drop-off sites. Your efforts form the foundation of US Foods' success, defined by our pillars of cultural beliefs, work ethic, collaborative spirit, and service.
This role is ideal for Class A Drivers who are flexible and open to making multi-yard trips to start routes. You will be responsible for covering multiple yards located in Oregon, with route assignments that may alternate on a weekly basis. This position requires a willingness to commute or travel to various assigned yards, as travel times may vary.
Day in the Life
Your day typically begins with early morning start times ranging between 1:00 AM and 6:00 AM. You will work a schedule that includes Monday through Saturday availability, with an average work week of 4 or 5 days. Some local routes may require overnight work.
During your shift, you will deliver best-in-class customer service, ensuring orders meet scheduled delivery times. You will unload products using a hand truck, place items in customer storage areas, and verify deliveries with customers. The role involves frequent stops and the ability to perform repeated manual heavy lifting of items up to 80 pounds, often in inclement weather. You may also be required to collect cash or checks where needed.

Requirements
