About the Role
As a US Foods Delivery Driver, you will be a critical member of our team and one of the most important faces of our organization. You will deliver meats, produce, frozen goods, groceries, dry goods, equipment, and supplies to customer drop-off sites. Your efforts form the foundation of our success, reflecting our pillars of cultural beliefs, work ethic, collaborative spirit, and service.
This role is ideal for Class A Drivers who are flexible and open to making multi-yard trips to start their routes. You will relish the chance to push your potential and grow within the US Foods family. Please note that this position requires commuting and travel to various assigned yards located in Oregon to get routes started; commute and travel times may vary.
Day in the Life
You will be responsible for delivering best-in-class customer service, ensuring orders meet scheduled delivery times while maintaining productivity. Your day will involve making frequent stops, verifying deliveries with customers, and collecting payments where needed. You will unload products using a hand truck, placing items in customer storage areas, and performing repeated manual lifting of items up to 80 pounds. The role requires the ability to deliver products in inclement weather conditions.
Schedules feature early morning start times ranging between 1:00 AM and 6:00 AM, with availability required Monday through Saturday. The average work week consists of 4 or 5 days, and route assignments may alternate weekly, potentially covering multiple yards and including weekends.

Registration with the FMCSA Clearinghouse is a requirement by the Department of Transportation for all drivers. This secure online database provides real-time information regarding CDL and CLP holders' drug and alcohol program violations. All applicants must register to the Clearinghouse website prior to starting.
