About the Role
As a US Foods Delivery Driver, you will be a critical member of our team and one of the most important faces of our organization. You will deliver meats, produce, frozen goods, groceries, dry goods, equipment, and supplies to customer drop-off sites. Your efforts form the foundation of our success, defined by our pillars of cultural beliefs, work ethic, collaborative spirit, and service.
This role is ideal for Class A Drivers who are flexible and open to making multi-yard trips to start routes. As a driver, you will build trusting relationships with customers through integrity and reliability, ensuring best-in-class service by meeting scheduled delivery times and verifying deliveries.
Day in the Life
Your schedule will typically involve early morning start times ranging between 1:00 AM and 6:00 AM, Monday through Saturday. The average work week consists of 4 or 5 days, though schedules may include weekends. Route assignments cover multiple yards located in Oregon, and these routes may alternate on a weekly basis. You will be responsible for unloading products using a hand truck, performing repeated manual heavy lifting of items up to 80 pounds, and making frequent stops throughout your shift. You may also need to collect money (cash or checks) and deliver products in inclement weather conditions.

Requirements
- verifiedValid CDL Class A with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications

- verifiedMinimum 6 months commercial driving experience OR 3 months food/beverage delivery experience
- verifiedMust be at least 21 years of age
- verifiedMust pass DOT physical
- verifiedFMCSA Clearinghouse registration required
- verifiedNo more than two traffic convictions in past two years
- verifiedNo DUI convictions in past three years
- verifiedNo driver's license suspensions in past three years
