About the Role
As a US Foods Delivery Driver, you will be a critical member of our team and one of the most important faces of our organization. You will deliver a wide variety of products—including meats, produce, frozen goods, groceries, dry goods, equipment, and supplies—to customer drop-off sites. Your efforts form the foundation of our success, defined by our pillars of cultural beliefs, work ethic, collaborative spirit, and service.
This role is ideal for drivers who are flexible and open to making multi-yard trips to start their routes. You will cover multiple yards located in Oregon, with route assignments that may alternate on a weekly basis. This position requires a commitment to delivering best-in-class customer service, verifying deliveries, and handling manual tasks such as unloading products up to 80 pounds, even in inclement weather.
Day in the Life
Your schedule will typically involve early morning start times ranging between 1:00 AM and 6:00 AM, Monday through Saturday. The average work week consists of 4 or 5 days, though schedules may include weekends. You will make frequent stops throughout your shift to ensure orders are delivered on time and productivity is maintained. Some routes may require overnight stays, with hotel accommodations paid for by the company, along with meal allowances and mileage reimbursement.

All drivers must register on the secure online database to provide real-time information regarding drug and alcohol program violations. Registration can be completed at clearinghouse.fmcsa.dot.gov.

Requirements
- verifiedValid CDL Class A with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications

- verifiedNo DUI convictions in past three years
- verifiedNo driver's license suspensions in past three years
- verifiedMinimum six months commercial driving experience OR three months food and beverage delivery experience
