As a US Foods Delivery Driver, you will be critical to our team's success, delivering meats, produce, frozen goods, groceries, dry goods, equipment, and supplies to customer drop-off sites. This role is designed for Class A Drivers who are flexible and open to making multi-yard trips to get routes started. This position requires travel to various assigned yards located in Oregon to begin routes, with commute and travel times varying based on assignment. Routes may cover multiple yards and alternate on a weekly basis. You will be responsible for delivering best-in-class customer service, meeting scheduled delivery times, and verifying deliveries with customers. The role involves frequent stops, collecting payments where needed, and performing manual heavy lifting of items up to 80 pounds, often in inclement weather conditions.
This role features early morning start times ranging between 1:00 AM and 6:00 AM, with availability required Monday through Saturday. The average work week consists of 4 or 5 days, and schedules may include weekends. Compensation depends on relevant experience, education, skills, and geographic location, with an expected base rate between $31.44 and $34.93 per hour. Additional compensation includes overtime, mileage reimbursement, hotel paid per route assignment needs, and a meal allowance/per diem.
