Key Responsibilities
- check_circleSafely operate CDL delivery trucks to deliver foodservice products on assigned routes
- check_circlePerform pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and DOT compliance
- check_circleMaintain accurate delivery logs and ELD records in compliance with DOT/FMCSA regulations
- check_circleFollow company policies on food safety and temperature control during transport
- check_circleReport vehicle defects, incidents, and route issues promptly to supervisors
- check_circleCollaborate with warehouse and dispatch teams to optimize delivery schedules
- check_circleLoad, unload, and secure products using pallet jacks while verifying orders
- check_circleProvide professional customer service and resolve basic delivery issues
Requirements
- verifiedValid Class A CDL license
- verifiedClean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) meeting DOT and company standards
- verifiedAbility to pass DOT physical and drug/alcohol screening
- verifiedKnowledge of DOT/FMSA hours-of-service rules
- verifiedExperience using ELDs and handheld delivery devices
