We are seeking a skilled CDL Driver to support the transportation and logistics needs of our clients. In this role, you will be the face of JCSI at delivery and pickup locations, representing our commitment to reliability and customer service. You will safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to transport freight for client accounts within assigned routes and schedules.
Your day will involve conducting thorough pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections in accordance with DOT and company standards. You will ensure full compliance with FMCSA and DOT safety policies, including the proper use of electronic logging devices and adherence to hours-of-service regulations. Beyond driving, you will secure and handle freight carefully, managing loading and unloading as required while verifying the accuracy of documentation and the condition of goods.
Effective communication is key to your success. You will coordinate pick-ups and deliveries with dispatchers, client contacts, and onsite personnel, resolving any service issues that arise. You will also participate in ongoing safety meetings and training, contributing feedback to help improve transportation practices and service quality.
