About the Role
As a Part-Time Container Delivery Driver, you are the face of PODS at the customer's doorstep. Your primary mission is to ensure the safe, efficient, and incident-free delivery and pickup of storage containers. You will operate a commercial truck equipped with a patented lift mechanism, navigating customer sites to transport containers while maintaining excellent rapport and professionalism with every client.
This role is vital to our logistics chain, bridging the gap between our storage facilities and our customers. You will coordinate rental paperwork, handle payments, and communicate directly with customers regarding their needs. Beyond driving, you will perform daily vehicle inspections, maintain the cleanliness of your truck and containers, and assist with field repairs when necessary. You may also provide backup support for storage center functions and accept additional deliveries to meet fluctuating business demands.
