About the Role
We are seeking CDL-A drivers to join our fleet on a variety of routes, including Over-the-Road (OTR), Regional, and Dedicated options. Whether you prefer multiple home time options or a specific schedule, our no-touch freight environment—featuring dry van loads with drop & hook capabilities—is designed to maximize your time on the road and minimize downtime.\n Our drivers operate in a modern fleet equipped with the latest Kenworth, Freightliner, and International tractors, all running at 68 MPH. From coast-to-coast, our newly updated and remodeled terminal facilities provide amenities such as free showers, free laundry, and access to TV and food, ensuring you have the support you need while traveling.

Hiring Process & Orientation
We make the transition to Heartland Express seamless with a paid orientation program held every Tuesday at our state-of-the-art headquarters in North Liberty, IA. During this orientation, you will receive a single-occupancy hotel room for each day, along with breakfast and lunch. Transportation reimbursement is available for some exclusions.
Upon completion of the orientation, you will be assigned your truck by Friday, allowing you to hit the road quickly. For more details on specific routes and compensation, please speak with a recruiter.
