US FOODS® is one of the largest food distributors in the industry, built on a culture of "YOU Matter." We pride ourselves on a history of promotion from within, offering unlimited career growth opportunities alongside ongoing job skills and leadership development training. Our mission is to help our customers make it, while simultaneously helping our drivers make it through a commitment to total rewards that respect and reward dedication and hard work.
As a Delivery Driver, you will be one of the most important faces of our organization. You are critical to the US FOODS® team, serving as the foundation of our success through your work ethic, collaborative spirit, and service. Your efforts define our cultural beliefs as you deliver meats, produce, frozen goods, groceries, dry goods, equipment, and supplies to customer drop-off sites.
Great drivers on our team strive for integrity and reliability, building trusting relationships with customers both on and off the road. You will be the one ensuring best-in-class customer service by delivering orders to meet scheduled times, verifying deliveries, and collecting payments where needed. This role requires frequent stops and the ability to perform manual heavy lifting of items up to 80 pounds, often in inclement weather conditions.
You will work a Monday through Friday schedule, starting early in the morning (2:00 AM - 4:00 AM) and finishing once deliveries are complete. A key benefit of this role is the opportunity for home every night with local routes. You will participate in paid training for the first 90 days, followed by a transition to a component pay program once you are able to deliver independently. The role offers a guaranteed minimum of 40 hours per week, with opportunities for paid overtime.

Important Regulatory Requirement:
Registering to the FMCSA Clearinghouse is a mandatory requirement by the Department of Transportation. All truck drivers must visit the Clearinghouse website and register to the new database. The Clearinghouse is a secure online database that provides real-time information about commercial driver’s license (CDL) and commercial learner’s permit (CLP) holders’ drug and alcohol program violations. If you have not registered to the FMCSA database, please note registration is required. Please visit clearinghouse.fmcsa.dot.gov and click GO to login. If you are able to log in but are having trouble with the Clearinghouse registration, see the "Clearinghouse Help" field on the clearinghouse page.
At US FOODS®, we are committed to compensation, benefits, and recognition that respect our employees for their dedication. We believe in helping our drivers succeed through excellent leadership, service recognition, and employee rewards. We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and consider qualified applicants regardless of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, genetic information, protected veteran status, or disability status.
